For over 20 years, Toyo Ink has been manufacturing heatset inks in the Melbourne manufacturing plant. The attractiveness of locally produced product to customers is significant, and for many valid reasons.

Research and development conducted in Melbourne is a direct result of local (Australian and New Zealand) markets changing requirements. As the technical centre is located on the same site as the production facility for heatset inks, Toyo Ink is able to respond quickly to market needs. This capability is without question the best available servicing the Australian and New Zealand markets. Toyo Ink can make choices regarding any required modifications to Ink technologies at a local level, based on influences from local needs. Our customers are therefore not exposed to the pressures from larger international markets and longer lead times that result in product range rationalizations and subtle changes without notice.

Production facility upgrades completed during 2005 have increased both production capacity and process efficiencies, enabling Australian manufacturing to continue to remain competitive with importers of other brands. We are now perfectly positioned to take on additional customers in this high volume end of the ink market.

As part of our service package to the heatset industry, we also  provide advice and fast manufacturing turnaround times for customized colour requirements, including PMS, Flourescent and metallic inks as well as specialized coatings.

With a regional structure that has high skill levels of technical, commercial and logistic support, Toyo Ink Australia and New Zealand are well placed to meet your current and future needs for heatset inks and associated consumables.
